Shipping Policy
SHIPPING POLICY:
Most items are ready to ship in 1 to 3 business days unless noted as "made to order". For the most accurate estimation of when your order will ship out, please see our Monday-Sunday guide below.
Please note we are not responsible for lost and stolen packages due to unsafe shipping locations. We will always do everything we can for you to help you locate a package after it has been shipped, but if the tracking number is telling us that it has been successfully delivered to your house by our carrier, then we are not responsible for the package from there on out. However, as before stated, we will always help in anyway that we can if a package is amiss after being delivered to your doorstep. Please note: If you live somewhere where you feel that a package is not safe being left where your carrier leaves it, please contact us so that we can require a signature upon delivery for your package. That is to say, we do not require a signature on our packages unless specified by you--- our customer.
Shipping times are all estimates and not guaranteed unless you pay for expedited, overnight shipping. If you need something urgently please contact our customer service team at hello@lagartier.com so we can help you choose the best and most reliable shipping method for your area.

In some cases, there will be a two day processing time depending upon what time of day you place your order.
In-stock merchandise
Is usually processed and shipped within 3 business days if you choose Standard shipping. Orders placed with Express shipping before 2pm EST will be shipped the next business day, unless it is Saturday. In the case of Saturday, the item will not ship until Monday.
Shipping Charges
These are shown during checkout and include any handling fees.
Backorders
If the merchandise you have selected is currently not in stock we will contact you via email in order to make sure you know all of your options, however this rarely happens due to the fact that we do our best to mark any and all unavailable products as "sold out" once they become unavailable.
Carriers
La Gartier Wedding Garters uses 3 different carriers to make sure your items arrive to you on time. USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx and UPS. However, please note that we primarily use USPS. In rare cases, we will use UPS if the order is international or FedEx if the order needs to be rushed shipped to a client in less than 24 hours. If this is the case, we will ship via UPS or FedEX. However, as before mentioned, we use USPS for most of our orders. Unless otherwise specified, we do not require a signature upon delivery.

SIMPLE STEPS TO FILING A CLAIM WITH UPS:
- You will first need to create a user ID with UPS if you don’t already have one. To create a user ID please visit here
- Once your user ID is created or you already have a username, you can now easily file the claim.
- Select this link to proceed with filing the claim by answering a few simple questions.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You report the Lost UPS Package, UPS Authorizes the Claim, Documents are Reviewed, and UPS will send paperwork for payment if the claim is approved and proven lost during the investigation.
The investigation process with UPS takes approximately 8 to 15 business days.
SIMPLE STEPS TO OPENING A HELP REQUEST FORM WITH USPS:
Please note, if your order was shipped as a First Class Package this is the ONLY way to file a lost mail request with this kind of shipping selection
If your order is going through a strange transit and or delayed, we advise filling out a Help Request Form. Completing a Help Request form is known to also help the movement of the package’s transit.
- You will first need to create a user ID with USPS if you don’t already have one. To create a user ID please visit here
- Once your user ID is created or you already have a username, you can now fill out the Help Request form.
- Select this link to proceed with filling out the Help Request Form by answering a few simple questions.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Once the USPS Help Request form is submitted you will be given a “service claim number.”
USPS then forwards your claim to your Local USPS to begin the investigation.
This is wonderful because your local post office can actually be the most helpful as they can confirm with the carrier if the package got scanned in wrong, etc.
Your local USPS will then reach out to you in regards to the whereabouts of your package.
If after 7 business days from when you submitted your online help request form your mail or package still hasn't arrived, you can now submit a Missing Mail search request here (“Step 3”)
