Custom Garter Spotlight: Manuela Arbelaez's Wedding Garter Set Made Us

If you have ever seen the show The Price Is Right, then you have most likely noticed the gorgeous brunette model named Manuela Arbelaez. This human being is honestly one of the funniest and prettiest humans I have ever met...and we are so proud to say that we created a custom garter set for her wedding on February 17th, 2018.

The story behind her custom wedding garter set is extremely special. The back story: First and foremost, Manuela wanted her garters to include a tiny sapphire ring that her grandmother had given to her as a little girl. So, while I was visiting Los Angeles that year, I met up with Manuela in Hollywood to get the ring in person, thereby avoiding any mistakes with shipping such a precious items. Once I was back at the studio, safe and sound with the ring, Manuela and I decided to also include Irish iconography to her garters by way of a gold claddagh symbol. (Her then fiance was super Irish, so we wanted to make sure to include something that represented is heritage as well as hers.)

While we had done a TON of "Irish" custom wedding garters up until this point, we had not yet (at this point in 2018) made a custom garter set that incorporated the classic claddagh symbol. Suffice, to say, I was so excited! The final product came out absolutely beautiful. I still cannot believe my eyes when I look at all of the special little details!

Pictured above: both Manuela's custom keepsake garter as well as her custom toss garter. At the center of her rose gold keepsake was the tiny sapphire blue ring that her grandmother had given her as a child. At the center of her toss garter was the gold claddagh symbol, to represent her now-hubby's heritiage. Don't the pendants look so pretty against the rose gold color of her keepsake?!! I die.

I still love how the size of the claddagh pendant matches the size and shape of the little sapphire ring that Manuela's grandmother gave her! I swear-- this set was meant to be.
