Every once and awhile, the stars align in your favor...and something magical happens. This is exactly how things fell together last month when La Gartier bride Monyetta Shaw reached out to us to create a custom garter set for her good friend Toya Johnson. I don't know if you remember, but we created a custom garter set for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Monyetta Shaw last year, who is now a friend of the show in season 14. As you can imagine, Monyetta has a widely influential, powerfully diverse circle of friends, including Lil Wayne's ex wife Toya Johnson. Before speaking with Monyetta, I was unfamiliar with the force that is Toya Johnson, however after a deep dive into Google, I became immediately enamored with every single interview and article spotlighting Toya Johnson. Suffice to say, I was thrilled to create a custom garter set for her! Monyetta gifted it to Toya the day before her wedding, leaving me glued to my phone for an entire weekend last month with bated breath..dying to catch a glimpse of the garters!!
