Do you love football? Then you are going to adore this custom garter design that we recently made for La Gartier bride Erica Ellington! When Erica first contacted us, she was living in Houston, Texas with her fiance Bruce Ellington. Bruce was playing for the Texans at the time..and when Erica reached out to us, she had a request that sent chills down my spine. SHE WANTED TO SEND US ONE OF HIS NFL JERSEYS TO TRANSFORM INTO HER WEDDING GARTER.
(I almost put that sentence in bold but didn't want to be dramatic.)
But wait--- how exciting, right? To turn your fiance's authentic NFL jersey into her wedidng garter? I just geek out so much on things like this. Not only did the final product reflect who she was as a person, but it also was a microcosm of who he was as a person.

At the front of her toss garter, Erica and I decided to have a custom gold "Ellington" pendant made by a custom jeweler in Houston, Texas. While it's true that both Erica and I loved the NFL details, we actually loved this special gold pendant just as much. And do you see that little glimpse of blue? That is her wedding date embroidered onto the inside of her keepsake garter! Talk about a special, hidden detail, right?! I loved how subtle and secretive this little element of her design was.
I swoon with pride when I see the backside of Erica's incredible garter set! Do you see that little NFL decal? That was cut, by me, directly from his NFL Texans jersey. It is 100% authentic.
The combination of gold and pearls within Erica's personalized wedding garter set still makes me stop and stare. 
Just one more and I'll stop. Promise.
This personalized wedding garter set was epic to say the least. It's funny....because at the time that Erica and I were making it, I love it but it wasn't until months later that I realized we had made REAL MAGIC together. Even as I write this blog, I am having a hard time keeping the photo count down. Dear Erica, if you are reading this, I want you to know that I will always think of you as one of the most supportive NFL brides we have ever worked with.
