I have spent countless hours googling phrases such as "swarovski crystal wedding garters" and "bejeweled garters" and there really isn't anything else out there that compares to the craftsmanship, the quality, and the sheer attention-to-detail that we put into our pieces.

3. The Venus Pearl Garter

Most arguably our most sought-after wedding garter design, the Venus Pearl garter is everything people say she is and more. When aiming to find the balance between classicism and modernism, look no farther than the Venus Pearl garter. Set within a sparkling swarovski crystal front band, exactly 22 pearls gleam like eternal moons in an intentionally cluster-like, celestial pattern. ☪️ The best part? If you look closely, you will see that there are exactly three star shapes hidden within the band, meant to symbolize growth in life or personal achievements. (no, seriously-- google it. 4. The Ever After Wedding Garter

Where do we start?? This garter is so magical, that we need at least a paragraph to describe its multi-dimensional components! 💎 First, a little back story: When creating this garter, the first feature that we knew that we wanted to include was tons of sparkle, a distinct 3-D floral element and a distinct "princess blue" color. 💙

As you can see in the photos above, the front band is primarily comprised of clear, sparkling pear-shaped swarovski crystals. ✨ Blooming from within the sparkling band are exactly five flowers: three blue (made of a soft acrylic and a rhinestone detail at the center of each flower) as well as two white flowers (made of gauzy, ethereal organza with a pearl detail at the center.) 🌸

The best part? The inside of the back band is embroidered with the words "Happily Ever After" in princess blue. (something blue? check and check✔️✔️) Other details to note: the back band is created using a lace overlay on the outside which can be admired from behind you was you walk down the aisle or dance the night away on the dance floor). The back band also features 15 sparkling swarovski crystal rhinestone embellishments. (hand-placed for extra sparkle.) ✨

5. The Galia Garter

Created using swarovski crystals and a semi-transparent illusion midline, this garter features jewels set in a symbolic floral pattern along the bottom and top perimeter, making for a stunning organic shape. The back half of this garter is made of a soft light elastic with a ruffled organza overlay. If you look closely at the illusion midline of the garter, you will see a honeycomb crosshatched pattern, specifically made to mimic the iconic design elements found within the gown of Galia Lahav and Berta. 💗✨

This design was inspired by the character of Cinderella. Thus, the subtle "Cinderella-dress-blue" tones that you see in the jewels above.

Real Wedding Garter Client Love: La Gartier Bride Emily Tann's Bridal Boudior Garter Slay

This week, we were thrilled to receive a treasure chest of photos from our beloved bride Emily Tann! If you are looking for bridal boudior inspiration, or ideas regarding how your photographer can best capture your garter during your bridal boudoir shoot, then look no farther than these drop-dead-gorgeous photos from La Gartier bride Emily Tann!

Emily paired her sparkling Galia garter with a simple silk bridal robe in ivory for her bridal boudoir look and we are IN LOVE WITH IT. A special shout out to Rowdie Bright Photography for you flash camera magic skills here!

When it comes to shot ideas, Emily has all the right ideas. Talk about a bride who understands the assignment! If you are reading this and are in need of ideas regarding how to best capture your garter during your bridal boudoir session, then we highly recommend something just like this! You will need the arm of a chair or a love seat...but if you throw your legs up in the air and ask your photographer to capture an image of your from your torso down, the picture always comes out amazing!

Pro tip: if you are looking for an affordable, super stylish way to make your bridal boudoir photos extra elegant, get a simple bouquet of baby's breath from your closest grocery store! The little white blooms lend such a bridal-perfect touch to any bridal boudoir shoot, as Emily so beautifully demonstrates in the photo above! But wait-- just one last word of advice: the more baby's breath you get, the better. Try not to get just one small bushel if you can avoid it. When it comes to baby's breath, more is more!

Ok, last one. Promise. Pictured above is the lovely Emily Tann wearing not only her sparkling Galia garter but also her ultra elegant bridal robe and neutral block heels. When it comes to your bridal boudoir shoot, we highly recommend bringing a pair of heels for at least a dozen or so shots. If you want to be barefoot most of the time, then do it. Real Bridal Robe Client Love: La Gartier bride Catherine Dosal Dazzles in our new Mrs. Wedding Robe

Last night, as I was sitting at the sewing machine, I had the pleasure of receiving the sweetest email from our past client Catherine Dosal. It made the entire day feel like diamonds! In it, she wrote:

"Just got all the professional edited photos with the robe you rushed over to me. I’m absolutely obsessed! Had to share with you. As well as thank you a zillion times over for making sure it got to me in time. Truly meant the world to me."

I was honestly so touched to read what she had wrote, that I didn't even expect to be even more floored by the images that she sent. Um. Holy pretty you guys. Are you ready for this?!

This moment is so special for us because it marks the very first time that one of our clients has sent us photos wearing our new Mrs. Bridal robe. We just released it a month ago, so until now, we have yet to glimpse it on one of our bride's in real life. So, suffice to say, when Catherine emailed us these photos, I just about dropped my phone with sheer happiness. But wait! There's more!

I love this angle because it shows not only the slightest glimpse of her red bottoms, but also the alluring, sexy semi-see-through fabric of the robe from the back. Can I get an amen?!!

Catherine, thank you so much for coming to us last month with your request. I honestly feel like we were meant to meet. The fact that you sent us these photos immediately after your photographer sent them to you really shows me how much you care about La Gartier...and we appreciate you way more than I can express through a blog. Beyonce Oscar's Bejeweled Crystal Garter WHOA MOMENT - The 94th Academy Awards just got a little sparklier

Tonight, at the 94th Academy Awards, Beyonce wore a stunning tennis ball green gown with a jaw-dropping crystal garter that we, quite frankly, could not get enough of. Her Oscars look, designed by a London-based designer named David Koma, shook us to our core for so many reasons... namely the luxurious leg statement that David single-handedly made for her. To explain: for years now, garters have been getting a bad wrap due to the garter toss tradition (which has become increasingly unpopular), but I myself have held strong in the belief that garters are incredible to have for a plethora of reasons beyond the garter toss. Seriously, it is not only an incredible accessory, but also one that is worth wearing for events/places/moments far beyond the wedding day itself!

So, a huge thank you to Beyonce tonight for wearing one! The Q.U.E.E.N. herself just helped garters get a huge leg up in the world! (pun intended.) And a huge thank you to David Koma for having the vision to put together her Oscars outfit with a bejeweled, fabulous wedding garter. We have never met you-- but we LOVE YOU ALREADY.
