Custom Garter Spotlight: La Gartier bride Becca Lenois' Greecian Opal Princess and Lace Bridal GarterEvery once and a greecian moon, I will have the opportunity to create a custom wedding garter design for a bride who doesn't even know she wants one. <insert tons of LOLS> This was DEFINITELY the case last month when I worked with La Gartier bride Rebecca Lenois, who was gifted a custom wedding garter by her good friend (and one of our beloved past clients" Jill Sullivan Pasparikas. Jill contacted me and told me that she wanted her good friend Rebecca to have the same custom experience as herself, so she booked Rebecca's custom spot over a year ago, ensuring that she would have her garter in time for her wedding. Two months ago, I had the honor of e-meeting Rebecca and learning all about her relationship, her wedding and her personal style. The custom design that ensued is hands down one of the most beautiful and unique Greek-inspired custom garters ever created. (Cue music from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding.) Wondering what made Rebecca's garter so gorgeous? Scroll down to see photos of her beautiful personalized garter!! And make sure to read the written captions below each photo to learn how each detail within Rebecca's beautiful custom garter design symbolizes an aspect of her relationship, her wedding day style, and what might possibly be one of 2018's classiest weddings.Interested in having a custom garter made for yourself? Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your custom spot. Right now, we are completely booked until July of 2018 but as long as you are not getting married until August 1st of 2018 or sometime thereafter, then there is still time!!The pendant that we purchased for the center of Rebecca's garter is pretty much my favorite piece of jewelry in the world. It was a vintage gold and silver pendant with the greek key symbol around the edges. At the center of the pendant is the owl. In ancient Greece, the owl is a symbol and also the symbol of Goddess Athena. For her base, Rebecca selected our "Athena" garter not only due to the name but also because she loved the rhinestone and opal detailing within it. After looking at her gown and her other accessories, it was a no-brainer.For Rebecca's "something blue", we decided to have her wedding date as well as her initials sewn into the inside of her garter. Talk about a beautiful personalized detail, right? My favorite details? The lace on the back band of Rebecca's garter matched the lace on her gorgeous wedding gown. All the heart eyes for fine french lace.

Custom Bridal Garter Spotlight: La Gartier Bride Christin Danielle's Iowa Hawkeyes and Iridescent Sparkle Wedding Garter SetWhen I first spoke with La Gartier bride Christin Danielle on the phone, I instantly knew that she was the type of person who lit up a room when she walked in. Her personality was fun, enthusiastic and inspired. After listening to her talk about what she wanted for her garter design, I just knew that Christin and I were going to get along. Little did I know that the garter set that would be born of our meeting would end up being a direct reflection of her personality as well as her relationship: fun, inspired, and sparkly. The elements of Christin's design were so multi-layered and SPECIAL that I can't think of anything else to do but bullet-point them! Scroll through the photos and the written tid bits of information below to learn more about this oh-so-sporty, oh-so sparkly, oh-so-Christin wedding garter set!!!Christin's keepsake garter was a limited-edition iridescent version of our Vienna garter, picked to match the colorful, playful vibe of Christin's personality.
We made 2 different toss garters for her-- one to pass down to her daughter someday and one to actually throw during her reception. Both were Iowa Hawkeyes-inspired to symbolize a passion that both Christin and her fiancé share: the Iowa Hawkeyes!!We hand-sewed Christin's wedding hashtag #therealadamsfamily on the inside of her keepsake garter. My favorite part? We did it in navy blue for her "something blue"!!!! 💙The back band of Christin's garter was made using a fine alençon lace that was chosen to match the lace on her wedding gown. Then, to make her design even more meaningful, Christin mailed us a pearl bracelet that once belonged to her mother one sunny day last August. We then cut the string and pulled off twenty pearls to use as embellishments along the surface of the back band of her keepsake. Do you see all of the tiny fresh water pearls sewed along the back band of her garter? (see photo above) Those little pearl beauties used to be worn around her mother's wrist. And that's all that I'm going to say about that ...because Christin's mother passed away recently and it breaks my heart to write about. But now Christin will have a special, symbolic piece of her mother with her as she walks down the aisle, which is pretty much #LoveMagic if you ask me.Happy La Gartier everyone. If you or someone you love would like to have a beautiful, meaning-laden wedding garter made, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com.

Not all garters are created equal. I realize that, as the spokeswoman for my own business, I should tell you that everyone of our designs are equally beautiful. However, this just isn't true. There are certain wedding garter designs (especially personalized garter designs!) that knock it so far out of the park, that I just can't help but brag about them. One of these designs came last month, when I created La Gartier bride Kama Holtzman's wedding garter set. Kama first contacted me with the hope that I could create a french lace and blue satin garter with heirloom potential for her February 2018 wedding, however once we got started on her design, it took on a life of its own and bloomed into an design worthy of the word MASTERPIECE. Below are photos of all three of Kama's garters: one to keep, one to pass down and one to throw. Underneath each photo is a little bit of written information about each garter, so make sure to read those little babies too!! (And keep in mind that if you are interested in a personalized garter of your own, then we would LOVE to work with you!! Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact form by clicking here.)
Kama's garter were made using the prettiest cornflower blue satin as the base. For her keepsake, we decided to "overlay" this satin with an exquisite (and expensive) ivory french lace. Why? Because nothing says heirloom quite like imported french lace. (To me anyway. But Kama agrees, so that makes two.)
Kama's toss garter might just be the cutest toss garter in the history of man. At the center, just under the bow, is a tiny engraved bar pendant that says "You're Next." That way, when one of the single men at Kama's wedding catches the garter, they will have no doubts regarding its significance. When Kama suggested that we include the "You're Next" saying, my jaw almost hit the floor. If there were such a thing as a "cute idea trophy," then I would award one to Kama with ACDC playing.
On the inside of Kama's keepsake garter, we included her wedding date PLUS her & her fiance's initials. When I think of Kama passing this garter down to her daughter someday, I tear up at the idea that Kama's "something blue" will someday be her daughter's "something blue" (cue the tears)
Kama's original toss garter (which she will never actually toss) was a custom version of our blue pearl garter. But take a look at what we added along the back to personalized it!
Isn't it amazing? Along the back of Kama's blue pearl toss garter, we included her wedding hashtag #kamjam2018!! Honestly, how did we live before the perfect adorableness of wedding hashtags?!
Another, close up photo of the wedding hashtag embroidery detail along the back of Kama's blue pearl garter. I can't think of a more modern and sweet personalized detail than the inclusion of her wedding hashtag! Don't you agree?Kama, I can't wait to see photos of your gorgeous garters with your unbelievably beautiful wedding gown on your wedding day! (Don't worry, my lips are sealed!) Creating this personalized wedding garter set for you has been nothing short of a dream!SIDE NOTE: if you love these photos as much as we do and would like to speak with someone about having a custom garter made for yourself or someone whom you love, then please feel free to contact us via email at email@example.com OR you can use the contact form by clicking here. Happy La Gartier everyone!

It's not everyday that you get a chance to cut up a real NFL jersey. Which is why I simply adored working with La Gartier bride Stephanie Ming last month! Stephanie married Levine Toilolo, who...if you love the Atlanta Falcons, is a name you are familiar with already.
Stephanie married Levine just two short weeks ago in sunny California and I am so happy to announce that she wore an incredible custom La Gartier garter on her wedding day. The back story: Stephanie gave me one of Levine's real jerseys to cut into and use within her custom garter design. Both her sparkling keepsake and toss garter are made using the jersey fabric as well as its remarkable NFL logo details. Then, to make the set even more personalized, we hung a single music symbol charm from the center of the toss garter to represent Stephanie's love of music. (Gotta love a music-worshipping Pisces!) The final product has turned out so special that I am already talking with a few potential clients about creating a similar jersey-inspired designs for them using other team jerseys! Dear Stephanie- making this for you was nothing short of amazing. As a woman with a TON of Atlanta-pride, I found making this for you heart-warming and downright ATL-patriotic. I am SO happy we pulled this off in time! I feel honored to create something that you will have for decades to come. I'm not going to lie-- I really hope you will someday have a little girl in who will inherit this NFL heirloom love magic!!! ✨❤️️🏈

Just finished: La Gartier bride Danielle Buckhiester's custom constellation-inspired wedding garter set. Danielle will be wearing a stunning Lazaro gown as she walks down the aisle this June and requested a keepsake garter that would match all the gorgeous beaded detailing on her bodice. (I wish I could say which Lazaro gown but she might kill me.) 🔫 So, for her keepsake, we designed a pearl & rhinestone garter with 3-D floral detailing along the back band to compliment her gown. 💗Then, because she + her fiancé LOVE to star-gaze together, we decided to design her toss garter around the stars. ⭐️🌟And not just any star...but the constellation Andromeda because...wait for it...Danielle and her fiancé have a favorite constellation LOVE story-- the story of Andromeda and Perseus. 🔭 As you can imagine, I just about died when when I heard this and then again when Danielle found this INCREDIBLE Andromeda constellation pendant from a shop called Beau and Stella. It was the touch that set her designs on fire....and I literally couldn't love the final set more!!! Danielle- thank you for introducing me to the story of Andromeda and Perseus!!! Your constellation/Lazaro-inspired garter has heirloom integrity written all over it. (Btw-i think we just made science-chic a thing)
